Anna Faris, who last starred in the light-hearted comedy House Bunny, recently talked about how she got fit for the role of Playboy model Shelly. While she’s always had a physique guaranteed to turn heads, Anna said she had to do extra work to get into the ultra-sexy figure the role required.
Six weeks before filming started, the blonde actress started working closely with personal trainer Nicole Stuart, who put her through a strict cardio and Pilates routine six days a week. The fitness routine worked and, if you saw the movie, Anna’s superbly fit body would definitely have caught your attention.
Of course, she had to diet too. In fact, Anna claims she was eating next to nothing during filming so she can maintain the Playboy Bunny curves she’s worked hard for in the weeks leading up to it. Her diet for the duration of that period consisted of very limited fare and was restricted largely to chicken and steamed vegetables.
She admits, however, that there is no way in the world she can maintain that way of eating and has gone back to regular fare - burgers and fries - as soon as the movie was over. She did fall in love with Pilates, though, and has kept it in her schedule long after the movie was done.
